Filtering of embedded bursts

Dear HARC,

Can you please advise how RORB identifies embedded bursts of higher ARI in the TPs when filtering is turned on? Does it compare every possible duration of rainfall within an event against the applied design IFD?

Hi Julian,

Apologies, I didn’t see this message. You are correct, it goes through the storm temporal pattern and checks windows that correspond with each of the durations that you’ve entered design burst depths (e.g. IFDs) for.
