Anya Jones-Gill has over 10 years of experience in the water industry and is passionate about water resources management. Her technical background is in hydrological and hydraulic modelling and analysis. She has experience developing and using water resources models in Source, REALM and MIKE.
Anya has worked on a diverse range of projects including: catchment modelling to inform water allocation planning in South Australia; hydrodynamic modelling to inform the planning and implementation of strategies to improve ecological conditions in the River Murray and its floodplain; and modelling to support the integration of new water sources into Melbourne’s bulk water supply system.
Anya has previously worked with the South Australian Department of Environment, Water and Natural Resources (DEWNR, now Department of Environment and Water), Melbourne Water and MWH (now Stantec). She relishes the opportunity to work on challenging projects that contribute to improved outcomes for the environment and wider community.
