Fatima Azhar

Fatima is an hydrologist, with over eight years’ experience in flood risk management, flood modelling, and dambreak consequence assessment projects.
She is currently finalising her PhD at Monash University where her research has focussed on vehicle stability in floodwaters.

Fatima also has strong expertise in applying various modelling tools (HEC-RAS, TUFLOW, Delft3D and DualSPHysics) and GIS applications (QGIS and ArcGIS) for hydraulic and hydrological modelling.

Prior to moving to Australia, Fatima was a Design Engineer in the Water Resources Division of NESPAK, a premier consultancy firm in Pakistan.
