Hench Wang

Hench has over eight years’ experience in hydraulic modelling, dambreak and consequence assessment and hydrology. Hench is a Chartered Engineer with Engineers Australia and is a Registered Professional Engineer Queensland (RPEQ), who is highly experienced in TUFLOW, RORB and HEC-LifeSim modelling and manages a range of projects for large public and private dam owners around Australia.

Hench has contributed to the dam’s industry by publishing and presenting a number of award-winning papers in 2018 and 2019 on the application of HEC-LifeSim to improve the consistency and robustness of consequence assessments. Hench has also authored and co-authored a number papers at various conferences around the world and is contributing to ANCOLD by developing a database of dam safety incidents around Australia.
