James has over three years of experience in the hydrology and hydraulic modelling spaces and is proficient in a wide variety of software packages, including TUFLOW, RORB, eWater Source and QGIS.
James graduated from the university of Adelaide in 2016 with a Bachelor of Engineering (Civil and Structural) (Hons.) degree. Since that time, James has been involved with a number of dam safety portfolio risk assessments, including for Melbourne Water’s retarding basin portfolio and Goulburn-Murray Water’s portfolio of dams. From these projects he has gained in-depth experience in using TUFLOW for hydraulic modelling, and in undertaking consequence category assessments.
James also has project experience in using eWater Source and RORB for hydrological and water quality modelling, including developing a Source model for the Waikato River catchment in New Zealand.
In addition, James is an experienced user of several Geographic Information Systems (GIS) software packages, including ArcGIS and QGIS.
