Matt graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Masters of Environmental Engineering in 2013.
As part of his studies Matt completed a research project examining the sensitivity of extreme flood peak flows to model complexity assumptions, including the means of flood routing conceptualization and the addition of snowmelt processes in the model.
In the time since, he has worked on a variety of flood hydrology projects, including loss of life estimation and dam failure consequence assessments. He is a confident user of many software packages including ArcGIS, RORB and URBS. Additionally, Matt is experienced in software programming, and is proficient in many programming languages including FORTRAN, C# and Python.
