Flood Risk Assessment for Fishermans Bend

HARC undertook a flood risk assessment for a development at Fishermans Bend. The project included the review of flood risk mitigation measures employed in Australia and overseas; the development of a repeatable approach for flood risk assessment based on recognised industry standards (e.g. Australian Rainfall and Runoff 2016, AEMI 2013, ANCOLD 2003, ISO 2009a); and the provision of advice on which aspects of flood risk management (e.g. flood modelling, levee design, sea-level rise estimates) should be prioritised to reduce uncertainty of flood risk assessment and to manage flood risk.
